Jillian Howard, Graduate Intern

Hello, I’m Jillian Howard

Jillian is an intern currently working towards a Master of Clinical Social Work. She has over 10 years of experience as an educator across various fields which include working with students with a wide range of developmental issues. In a previous internship she served children, adolescence, and parents individually who endured trauma. Currently she has the opportunity to partner with a school  counselor to lead social- emotional learning in an elementary school. She also co-leads a support group for women that teaches empowerment, resilience, and self-efficacy.

Jillian is driven by the possibilities of providing resources that seem to be limited in her community. She also wants to normalize the importance of mental health in the society. She believes that mental health is just as important as physical health.

Our 2nd year graduate interns provide low cost quality mental health services for those willing to pay out of pocket at the rate of $30 per session. Our interns do not do consultations, but your first session is free if you choose to work with our interns.
