Hello, I’m Tia Layton, APN, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C
I am a a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and I provide psychotherapy and psychopharmacology (medication management) services across the lifespan. I’ve worked in an outpatient clinic setting treating mental and medical illnesses. My goal is to be ethical, empathetic, and respectable in providing individualized patient care. I believe in using an integrative mental health model that honors everyone in their entirety. It embraces mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, environmental, and social forces that all have an impact on health and well-being. I’m an advocate for physical and mental health prevention and promotion. Your initial visit with me would focus on establishing a therapeutic relationship where you discuss: areas of concern, past/present social, medical, and mental history. From here, we’ll work together to explore your goals for treatment.
